Our manufacturing story
Who we are
RHINO SHOE is manufactured by Safetyware Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia's largest safety footwear manufacturer when safety shoes and boots are considered together.
Safetyware Sdn. Bhd. is a member of Safetyware Group Berhad, a Malaysian occupational safety and health group listed on Bursa Malaysia. The Group brings more than two decades of workplace-safety experience to product development, manufacturing and regional support.
We build industrial footwear for tropical realities—from hot production floors and wet outdoor work to electronics facilities where electrostatic control matters. Annual production capacity exceeds 840,000 pairs across cemented, direct-injection, direct-vulcanised and PVC injection lines.
RHINO SHOE has grown into one of Southeast Asia's leading safety footwear brands, serving employers, distributors and project buyers across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and beyond.
How a safety shoe is built
At RHINO SHOE, quality is not one inspection performed at the end. It is built and checked at source—from approved materials and skilled workmanship to controlled machinery, orderly production and final release.
Approved upper materials are cut, grouped and prepared against the product specification before assembly begins.

Operators trim shaped components carefully because dimensional accuracy at the start influences every downstream operation.
Skilled operators align and stitch upper components, checking workmanship as each safety shoe begins to take shape.

Also known as Strobel stitching, this process joins the upper to a flexible Strobel insole, closing the bottom of the upper to create a secure construction ready for lasting and sole attachment.

Completed uppers are organised and visually reviewed before they move into forming, lasting and sole construction.

Machine-controlled forming helps establish a repeatable shape and a stable foundation for the operations that follow.

Lasting equipment pulls and shapes each upper around its last, helping control fit, form and manufacturing repeatability.

Automated tooling brings repeatable movement and process control to critical preparation work on every programmed cycle.

Sequenced mould stations help control sole formation, attachment and consistency across each production batch.

Dedicated injection equipment and trained operators manage the moulding process for robust waterproof safety boots.

Clearly staged pairs make production status visible and support workmanship checks before value is added at the next station.
Each completed pair is cleaned, laced and reviewed for appearance, construction and presentation before final release.

Finished boots receive a final visual and workmanship review, then are protected for delivery only after release.

Our responsibility
We believe a safety shoe only works when people can wear it confidently throughout the shift. That means balancing protection, fit, durability, climate and value rather than treating certification as the end of product design.
RHINO SHOE is a registered trademark of Safetyware Group. Our goal is to make every step safer while helping Southeast Asian industry equip people more effectively.
